Becoming a member
You are invited to join in our mission to provide interpretive and educational programs teaching about Vista House and helping to preserve and maintain this historic treasure. Basic Membership Benefits include our newsletter, a 10% discount in the Museum Gift Shop and periodic e-news updates. Additional benefits apply as membership levels increase. Friends of Vista House is a tax- exempt 501(c)(3) private nonprofit organization and all contributions are tax deductible. Memberships at the $500 or higher levels qualify for inclusion in the FOVH Donor Wall * in Vista House and other benefits.
By becoming a member you also become part of a growing list of dedicated persons that believe in preserving, protecting and sharing the Vista House with generations to come. You can download the membership form as a pdf and mail or fax it in.

Starting on April 18th: Vista House will be open from 9am – 6pm daily starting April 18th ( That includes the coffee shop and gift shop so come on in and say hello! ) Starting October 6th through November 2nd: Vista House will be open from 10am – 4pm daily. Beginning November 3rd: Vista House will be open only on Saturdays and Sundays, weather permitting. You may call the Vista House site number (503) 695-2240 on those days to check if we are open.
The winter weather in the Columbia River Gorge can be unpredictable and the weather at Crown Point even more so! The Vista House will not open if it is too windy or there is ice on the roads, and the determination whether to open will be made each Saturday and Sunday morning throughout the winter. You may call the Vista House directly at 503-695-2240 to see if it is open on any winter weekend day.
